Palazzo del Borgo is situated in the suburb of Rivalto, a very quiet village in the province of Pisa, Municipality of Chianni.
Rivalto arises on the foundations of an ancient castle, and has maintained the fascinating aspect of a medieval village; on the top of a hill at 350 meters above sea level, it grants a nice climate.
The scenario is the Era Valley and the hills with their green yellow and dark brown fields, well-kept vineyards, olive trees, wheat fields, fruit trees and sunflowers fields.
In Rivalto you will find a small shop for foods, a butchery and a bar/restaurant, where every Sunday morning you will find the just cooked bread.
Only 4 kms far away you can reach the country of Chianni; here there are shops for food, a bakery, a newspaper kiosk, a tobacconist's, an electrician, a hardware shop and the postal office, as well as some restaurants that offer tasty dishes of the Tuscan tradition.
If you prefer you can reach some supermarket (Conad and Discount) with about 10 minutes by car (Loc. Capannina-Lari), with about 20 minutes the Coop (Ponsacco).
At about 4 Kms there is CASCIANA TERME, an important thermal centre where you will find a swimming pool with water to 36° and treatments of comfort.
Rivalto is an ideal starting point for your daily trips to the most famous centres of Tuscany.

From La Spezia:
Direction south (Pisa/ Livorno) up to PISA SUD. In Pisa you take Superstrada (for free, S.G.C. FI-PI-LI , about 25 km), direction Firenze up to exit Ponsacco. After the exit in Ponsacco, take direction Casciana Terme. In Casciana Terme take the Strada del Montevaso direction Chianni. Just before Chianni, there is a secondary road on the right, direction Rivalto. Palazzo del Borgo has a sign post in the village, but if you don't find us, please ask or call us!

From Bologna:
Along the Autostrada del Sole direction Firenze, up to FIRENZE SIGNA. From here take S.G.C. FI-PI-LI direction Pisa/ Livorno up to exit PONTEDERA. In Pontedera take direction Casciana Terme. In Casciana Terme take the Strada del Montevaso direction Chianni. Just before Chianni, there is a secondary road on the right, direction Rivalto. Palazzo del Borgo has a sign post in the village, but if you don't find us, please ask or call us!
